Hawthorn Cat Hotel

61 Reigate Rd, Horley RH6 0HL, UK – 01293 784009

Really lovely place. Pens are a good size with a heated indoor "house" plus an outside run with ledges and chairs to sit in. Very happy with the care - will be using Hawthornes whenever we go away.

My cat Tinsel stayed here for 3 nights. The cattery is well planned out and ideal hygeine/socialisation/ability to escape wise. The contract is in depth showing that the couple know what they are doing! A lovely quiet location, well shaded and roomy with a lovely indoor section. My cat greeted me after 3 days by being completely relaxed, rolling on his back like he was having a holiday himself! In addition even though they closed at 5 they were willing to wait until 6pm for my arrival with no extra charge. Would highly reccommend!

Vets

Medivet Horley - Thornbury Veterinary Centre

52 Massetts Rd, Horley RH6 7DS, UK – 01293 785159

I've recently changed to Medivet (Thornbury), in Horley and I'm so glad that I did! The staff are really friendly and helpful, they keep to their appointment times (I've never waited more than 5 minutes.) And, most importantly, they seem to genuinely care about their patients! A vast improvement on my previous vets whose main concern seemed to be money :-(

After going to another local vets in the area after local reviews, I was shocked by the dirt and couldn't care less attitute that I needed to find something else. I took my 2 persian kittens to Thornbury and the staff were so lovely throughout every moment, calling with updates and treating them so well, I couldn't be happier and so pleased to have them around the corner.

Gayton Veterinary Group

South Pde, 7 Horley Row, Horley RH6 8BH, UK – 01293 771560

All the vets I've seen here are really helpful and caring. Very understanding when my cat was seriously ill and subsequently died. Only problem is they always seem to be running late!

I have used Gayton for years and they've always been great, even just for routine checks, dentals, vacinations etc but especially when theres been more serious issues like emergency surgery, out of hours accidents or pets pass away.
